About time I updated

annykaI told everyone that I would suck at keeping this thing maintained, but here I go again - seeing what I can do.
Well.. What can I tell you. I was looking back at my previous posts, and have some comments to say about 1. My wedding plans, 2. My Bridesmaid excitement.
Well my friend who asked me to be her bridesmaid ended up dropping me from the bridal party because 1, I was unable to commit fully and 2. She couldn't really afford it - fair enough I say. But I got really pissed off when suddenly Tarlach (who was supposedly the grooms best friend) and I got excluded from the wedding all together.. All because the groom thought I didn't like him. Oh well I hope they are happy together.
I did get to attend another friend's wedding though - only saturday gone, and it was fantastic!!! Tarlach was a groomsman and he did a fabulous speech, everyone commented on it. And the best part of the evening (for me anyway) was I caught the bouquet!! GO ME!!
Well last night I asked Shaun to marry me and he actually said Yes! So I guessed it was official, though he has requested I don't really make a fuss until he gets the ring - which could be forever.
He has made a deal with me (My doing) that if I get to my weight goal before he asks me, we can officially get engaged then anyway (so I am doing mega diet/exercise plan with my teacher friend- Bee).
I am not getting married in Mauritious anymore. I have decided to get married in Perth, but only inviting those people who actually matter to me. (gee I guess I can lose some friends this way)...
I have asked my bridesmaids to be bridesmaids (a couple of months ago) though I am going to try and catch up with them this week so we can start the ball rolling.
We have set an actual date for our marriage now. (not just November next year- but the 19th of november) so that leaves 13 months for planning (so I don't care that I am not 'officially' engaged - I don't want to rush things!!!)
Tarlach is probably going to have girls as his groomsmen (hehe) except for definately his best mate and Maybe one of his other mates. He told me he considers one of my friends more of a friend than any of his friends and same with his sister.. (should be interesting)
I am trying to think of a theme for my wedding, so any ideas anyone?
Well I will attempt to actually keep you updated on my wedding plans (since they now seem to be rolling along)
